October is coming. So Childrens' Day is coming again. Its the time of the year where I have to spend time and money to prepare gifts. This year I didn't go through the trouble to bake cookies like last year. So, I just got them some simple stationary and tidbits. When I was a kid, like any other kid, I always looked forward to Childrens' Day. Its like one of my other favourite day besides my Birthday! Haha... The whole class would anticipate what gift our teacher would give us. The gift might be nothing expensive or big, but we are still happy to receive them. =) So now its my turn to give. Although most of my students are in Secondary school, I still make it a point to get something for them.

真的雨过天晴了~~
Went for my checkup today at SGH. Seen my report and its good news. The cysts are not cancerous. My wound's ok too, so I'll just have to go back for another scan in 6 months time. And if everything's ok, I'll just have to do a follow-up checkup once every year. Since we will never know when the dermoid cyst will reappear again. All we can do is to do the checkup regularly and if it really appear again, we could do something about it i guess.
Before my checkup I went up to the ward to visit my dad. He's admitted again since last Thursday because of a bad stomachache and vomitting. We went to the polyclinic intially on thursday and after consultation with the doctor, he suggested we go to the hospistal because my dad might need a drip. So yea, we made our way there and a blood test and Xray of the tummy was done. His small intestine was bigger than normal from the Xray. After been admitted, the doctor came again and said that his small intestine is clotted. That explaines his bloated stomach and the bad stomachache. So they need to put a tube down through his nose all the way into the small intestine to suck up all the stuff in the small intestine. Then let the small intestine rest for a few days. He's also put on a drip.
Today, they finally removed the tube and the drip. So my dad could start eating. He started with soft low residue food that is much easier to digest, easy on the intestines first. So hopefully he could be discharged by tomorrow.
Lastly, the only thing i hate about going to the hospital is that we have to wear the mask inside the wards and clinic. And also the rigid visitors policy.
P.S. I have the urge to shift my blog to either wretch or pixnet. Hmm.. should I?

Results are out!~~
I have been cooping at home without stepping out of the house for more than a week since I'm discharged from the hospital. I don't need painkillers now, movement around the house can be done with ease. So I went out with my family for dinner last Saturday. Had to walk relatively slow compared to how I usually walk.... I'm afraid that if i walk too fast it will affect the wound. Yea.. so I'm fit to leave the house I guess. Will be able to look at the full report when I go for my appointment with the doctor next Monday. After which, I hope everything's all ok and all back to normal.
Oh and the reason for me blogging this early in the morning-->... results are finally out! I don't know i should be happy with it or sad. But well... at least its the minimum that I hope I'll achieve. So ya.. I'm now finally a graduate with an Honors Degree Cert. If there's still no news with NIE, I'll proceed to look for another job sometime starting next week.
