I just got home from tuition. My student gave me a Teachers' Day present, its a small note book. Although its nothing expensive or what, but its still very sweet of her. =) Haha.. that also means i have to get her something for Childrens' Day...hmm...

Before tuition, I went down to the bank to purchase the bankdraft to pay to UOL. The exchange rate today for Sterling Pound is about 3.07... haiz... so much money!!!! I was looking at the bankdraft i bought last year, the exchange rate then is only 2.90 mannnn!!!! Is there inflation or wat?! Haiz....

Haiz, this week i have to settle the UOL continuation fees. Which means i have to go to the bank to buy the bank draft..243 pounds mann.... convert to S$ is like 700 plus... haiz... must wait for my dad to buy the money inside my account then i'll go n buy the bank draft..

Then after that, next week when results are out, have to go down to school to pay the Units Fees.. which will total up to at least S$4000 plus.. haiz... so reluctant to ask my dad for the money... haiz.... =(

16-year-old boy dies after being hit by bus at Hougang Central

SINGAPORE : A 16-year-old boy died after being hit by an SBS Transit bus at Hougang Central on Friday morning.

The driver is now assisting the police with investigations.

SBS Transit says it will carry out its own checks once police investigations are completed.

Meanwhile, the driver has been suspended with immediate effect.

Police say the bus was turning right into Hougang Central at about 7am when it knocked down Gabriel Goh Wei Xiang, who was on his way to school.

The three passengers onboard were not injured.

Channel NewsAsia understands that Gabriel's family learned about the incident after his teacher called to say he did not attend school on Friday.

Gabriel, who was studying at Holy Innocents' High School at Upper Serangoon Road, was due to take his O-level examinations this year.

His father, Goh Joo Chuan, said, "His teacher called me today, saying that Wei Xiang did not come for class today. So I informed my wife and she called home, asking Wei Xiang's elder brother to go down the flat to take a look. His brother recognised his shoes and school bag on the road." - CNA/ms

Just now went Compass Point to meet Yan Li for lunch. We tried the Pizzahut's new pizza: the Cheezy Delight Meal. Its not tt fantastic as i expected, haha too much cheezy le.. eat too much is abit too sick of the taste. After that i went to buy a small bag (Pic above) to match the Yellow Dress that i bought for my cousin's wedding.. hehe... is the bag nice? haha.. i think its very nice..

Ooh.. anyway during lunch just now, one of my students called me and told me that she passed her Maths paper for CA2!!! 60plus you know!!! I'm soooo happy for her also, coz her maths results was quite bad all along, 50plus for CA1 and only 41 for SA1.... yup, but donno how she fair for the other subjects yet.. but still i think i'll be getting her a small gift for doing well for her Maths paper this time round. =) But then i'm starting to worry for the SA2 le... more stress to maintain her grades for the end-of-yr exams now, since she got 60plus for maths, i can't afford to let her grades fall below that for her SA2!!! Ahh... stress.....

(1) I when to cut my hair last friday..hehe.. yup just did some trimming of the fringe..feel like keeping my hair longer abit..rather than the length always hanging at the shoulders there..=)

(2) Think you all might have heard of the recent news where about 1000 Singnet users were fined for illegal downloads of Japanese Animes using P2P channels. I guess the most common one among those should be the torrent sites. Hmm.. i guess now alot of people resort to downloading from the net, whether animes or any other shows coz its really way too too too expensive to purchase ALL the legal copies to watch you know... It will definatelt burn a big hole in your pocket!!! And now they are checking the Starhub users as well. So people, for the time being, don't download and just try to watch online ba... i don't think you wanna be fined thousand over dollars just to satisfy your current entertainment needs right?!

(3) Still waiting for my exams results to be out. Apparently it is suppose to be out this month, but then still have not heard any news on which specific date its going to be... haiz...

(4) Oh and i have finally settled all my tuition timings today due to my new school timetable starting 2nd week of next month. So when school starts, i'll be free on Mondays, Tuesdays have one late afternoon class from 3.30pm to 6.30pm, Wednesdays have one morning lecture 8.30am to 11.30am and then late afternoon have tuition 4.30pm to 6.00pm, Thursdays have classes the whole day..8.30am to 11.30am and then 3.30pm to 6.30pm, Fridays no class only one tuition from 4.30pm to 6.00pm, Saturdays now also have tuition le...11am to 1pm & Sundays also have tuition from 12pm to 1.30pm... Guess i just have to be happy with that...

(5) Haha, and i guess now i'm quite over my korean craze.. haha.. but am into Japanese animes again, but don't worry i don't download to watch, i just watch online.. haha

Hmm.. this is really nice, but as the brand suggest, i dun think i can afford to get one, i think the price is about 5K!!!

This one's looks more affordable for me, but i was told that Dell isn't such a good brand. Hmm... anyway its not like i can take out the money to buy a notebook now... haiz....

P.S. About notebooks, anyone has any recommendation? =)

Goong S OST

I'm watching Goong S now.. at episode 9 now... its not bad.. but then i think the 1st part is funnier.. But then the Prince in Goong S is better looking..compared to the Shin in the 1st part.. wahaha... i love both OSTs as well..

Guess what, i slept at almost 5am this morning! haha... at 12plus i decided to start reading a book that i borrowed from the library last week. And then.. haha the story is too nice and interesting mann!! so i finished the whole book! I spent about 4-5 hrs to finish the book..=) haha.. although i'm really quite sleepy le towards the end, but then the story is just to nice for me to put the book down and go to sleep. I knew that i had to finish reading the book! Haha... its been a long time since i've enjoyed reading a book that much =) at the expense of my sleeping time tt is.. wahaha.. but then the ending is good, so i'm happy that i stayed up to finish the book before going to sleep..haha..=) Yup, this is the book that i stayed up all night reading... =) Sweet and nice storyline.. hehe...

Today is National Day. I think to many, this day simply just implies a holiday for them, no school or no work. How many actually understands the actual meaning of it? Why does a nation needs to celebrate National Day? Haha, i'm not saying that i myself understands as well la...=) Still remember the school days, where all the students have to wear a red or white top to school to attend the National Day celebration in the school hall. The eve of the holiday also implies tonnes of homework for us, haha, even teachers also knows how to make use of the public holiday mann... Then during the celebration, we students will sing the few national day songs that i always the same all these years. haha like "Stand Up for Singapore" and songs like that.. haha sometimes really miss those days.. being there you got a feeling that you are a student once more.. not like now, although still a student, but everyone is just like an individual unit...



Okie anyway, i just recieved the dress that i bought online! haha... remember a few weeks ago i was still pondering whether to buy or not to buy? haha yes, in the end i bought it, and the good news is that it fits me well and even my mum thinks that the dress is nice! haha... so i'll be wearing that dress to my cousin's wedding next month..=)

Anyway i find that 樱野3加1 is kind of similar to another show that i watched years ago, 西街少年. haha... coz both stories started out in 西街 (a place in Taiwan) and the main leads (4 in both shows) all grew up together since they were kids. haha... so similar right?
