Went for tuition as any other Mondays have been. One of my students got me something nice to hang on my handphone as my very early birthday gift! Haha... because after next monday when her PSLE is over, I wouldn't be having lessons with her anymore. She's a sweet girl, I've been teaching her for almost 2 years now and I have never once lose my temper at her, not even once! Haha... she's very cheerful, always with a smile and as we go along during lessons, its really enjoyable to teach her =) Ok her results might not be very good but then to me a student with a good attitude and character is much better than a A* student with bad character and always playful and un attentative right?

This is the hp strap that my student got me! Haha, on first look i love it already. Like what i told my bro, its a combination of all my favourite things! Wahaha!! If you know what i mean la..

30 Sept 2008 (Tuesday)

Another long long approx. 12 hrs spent in school. I'm really starting to admire myself even more to be able to sit through all the lectures! 3 in a row! But then... till the last lecture, not only is the content uninteresting to me, even the lecturer is making me lost interest in that unit! So most of the time i'm like staring at my watch or the clock on the wall but not the screen!

Its a sunny day! Wahaha because the lecturer is called Sunny Goh! Yup, he's the one that taught me for the PSOC remedial classes in year 2 as well. OK la, Sunny is a funny lecturer, his lectures are not that boring and some more its 12pm in the afternoon not a lecture at the end of the day.. so not too bad.. But .. yes.. BUT.. the thing is.. the unit itself: OTIA is horrible! Imagine that, a unit that comprises on 3 disciplines - Sociology, psychology and economics!!! Woah!!! I don't what to comment anymore, you all judge for yourself.. haha

MANAGEMENT SCIENCE METHODS
Haha.. this one.. hmm.. how should i put it? The lecture is Indian, so he speakes with a very and yes i mean VERY thick accent.. and sometimes its very difficult to catch what he was trying to say.. so seriously, without the notes and screen where he is explaining from, I don't think i'll be able to understand him at all! But still i'm not very rejective towards MSM la... coz at the least it is still maths with some calculation in it... but then why must there be statistics? I just saw probability and normal distribution during this tuesday's lecture!!! Oh no....

STRATEGY
Okay... this lecture happens to fall on the tuesday 7pm slot.. and worst to add on to that, the lecture is CHINA if you know what i mean... i seriously hate the say he speaks English with that fake donno American or British slang!!! Ok maybe i'm just biased towards that certain group of people.. whatever.. and the unit itself is like a shadow of MANAGERIAL ECONOMICS! I still thought that when i passed my ME, that would be the last time i will be seeing anything to do with that unit.. but who knows... its back again to haunt me!!! And when this lecturer teaches those things again like Game Theory and Cournot and Bertrand and stuff.. I'm starting to miss the other lecturer that taught me ME and Intro to Economics! Haha.. Ting! why didn't you teach STRATEGY?! Haha.. I'll forever remember his joke about the "millionaire with a pocket full of air"! Wahaha.. so funny!!!

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
This unit is just like the shadow of PRINCIPLES OF ACCOUNTING! haha.. yes just when i thought that i passed my POA and will not be seeing it again... yes yes.. its back to haunt me again with all the cashflow... balance sheet... NPV... arghhh.... Oh and did i mention this before? this lecturer is ok.. no accent or what.. and the interesting thing is that he had exactly the same name as my dad! wahaha... maybe this will bring me good luck for this unit!!! Wahaha....

On Tuesday they were having a graduation tea ceremony for the students from the Universtiy of Sydney i think.. and i took this photo from the 2nd floor where we could look down at the Atrium. Haha.. qouting from my friend YanLi, "they look like ants!" Wahaha.. ok la... i have to agree they do look kind of like ants.. most of them wearingthe black graduation robe too...

Look at what i drew during STRATEGY class on tuesday... ME back to haunt me!!!! Nash equilibriums... AHHHHHHH!!!

Its a public holiday due to te Hari Raya and coincidentally its also Children's Day... Yes so all the kids get to enjoy their holiday and so do the working adults.. but not ME!!!! I still have to wake up early for tuition.. but then my students also have to be up early for tuition la.. so I can't really complain much can i? Got a 2 hour break between tuition so went to Compass point to meet Yan Li for lunch... while waiting for her to reach, I bought a pair of white shorts wanting to get it to go with a yellow top that i bought a few months back but have not had a chance to wear it because I can't find a suitable shorts or pants to go with... haha...

There's still tuition tml... added another one as well, a makeup for not being able to have the usual lesson on this coming saturday.. coz have to go sch for FM class.. haiz... so well.. but i still manage to create something to look forward to!.. after the 1st tuition tml which ends at 3.15pm.. i still have sometime before the evening tuition at 6plus.. so i'm going shopping at Toa Payoh for just a little while!!! Yippee!!! =)
